Eklingji
22 Kms from Udaipur is thronged by the pilgrims all through the year. A beautifull temple made of sandstone and marble. It was built in 734 AD. devoted to Eklingji (Shiv Deity adored under the soubriquet of EKLINGA). The complex houses 108 temples.

enhance the decoration. At the entrance a beautiful sculpted Nandi [the sacred bull of Lord Shiva] enriches the temple. Kumbhalgarh Fort
stands magnificently in between the Aravali. The fort was built in 15th century
A.D. by Maharana Kumbha. This 1914 enormous fort is encompassed by a 36 Km long wall, has seven majestic gates and seven ramparts. On the East, Kali Temple and the Mamadev Kund with royal Chhatris are beautiful.
Chittorgarh
Stands proudly with Rajput chivalry and admiration on a 240-hectares site and 180m high plateau. This fort has glorious brave stories of sacrifice in the name of honor like the Jauhar of Rani Padmini, a great beauty who jumped into fire when about to be captured by the Mughals. Tower of Victory, Padmini Mahal, Meera Mandir, Fish tank and more of the legendary monuments are encompassed within the fort. It epitomizes heroism. It is a marvelous experience during monsoon.
Haldighati
The famous legendry battle was fought between Maharana Pratap and the Mughal Emperor -Akbar in 1576 AD. So much bloodshed in the war turned the sand into red color seen even today.
Ranakpur
Beautiful sculptured Jain temples marked as as one of the five holy places for the Jain community made in 15th century Rana Kumbha. The central Chaumukha [four faced temple] is devoted to Adinathji. 29 halls and 1,444 pillars are all conspicuously carved and none are similar speaks of a great sense of intelligent architecture.
Rajsamand Lake
Created in the 17th century looks spectacular in the evening. Enjoy a boat ride and explore the stunning chatris and gateway arches around the lake.
Sajjangarh
Stands 2468 feet high on top of Bansdara Mountain. It was used as a monsoon palace and hunting lodge by the Maharanas. You get an amazing view of the Mewar countryside. It was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh. Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary
Is 578 sq Kms in area and at an altitude of 500 to 1,300m. The sanctuary has wolf, leopards, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, smabhar, nilgai, chaisingh, chinkara. Birds like the red spur owls, Parakeets, golden Oriole, grey Pigeons, Bulbul, Dove and white breasted kingfisher take shelter in these natural beautiful surroundings.
